About
Giselle Castro-Brightenburg is a Dallas-based artist whose vibrant paintings are deeply inspired by the natural world. She holds a BFA from the University of Dallas and an MA in aesthetics from the University of Texas at Dallas. Over the years, Giselle’s work has been showcased in several exhibitions, including a solo show at the Irving Arts Center, as well as solo exhibitions at Brookhaven College and the Longview Museum of Art, where one of her pieces remains part of the museum’s collection.
While building a career as the digital media manager at the Dallas Museum of Art and dedicating time to raising a family, painting became less central to her life for a period. However, her passion for painting reignited recently, leading her to complete more than 100 new works during the past two years. Giselle’s work is also held in several private collections, and she continues to explore her artistic practice from her studio at the Art on Main gallery in Dallas.
